Youth Community Service Awards

Hundreds of outstanding graduating high school seniors have been honored through WAHHI’s Youth Community Service Awards since the program was started in 1979. The monetary awards recognize the recipients’ community service. The number of awards given depends on the amount of money earmarked for the Awards in each year’s budget, as well as money raised through fundraising activities. The WAHHI Program was started with one $75 award and has grown throughout the years. Each year, deserving students are given this prestigious award.
