…..and what a spectacular day it was! Co-chairs Sarah Gleeton and Holly Brooks did a fabulous job and scored a hole in one. Long Cove Golf staff were very attentive to our 102 golfers, who were excited for a unique opportunity to play a private club, all thanks to member Mary Healy. (And golfers didn’t disappoint shopping in the Pro Shop either!)
The weather was perfect, the holes were challenging, mulligans were used and members supported terrific raffle baskets and silent auctions. We are grateful.
It takes a village to pull off such a large endeavor. Huge thanks go to the committee and helpers. The goody bags were perfect in size and selection (Cindy Kois and Diane St. Clair); the raffles were attractive and loaded with merchandise, as always (Sarah Mason and Diane Giaquinto), with assistance the day of the event from committee members Terry Boberg and Eileen McKnight; the registration and mulligan sale were fast and efficient (Sandee Brooks, Linda Armstrong and Babs Villani). Our rangers Sherry Schirmer and Megan Dinopolous kept play moving along.
Lastly, thanks to Lisa Adamsky and Debbie Gorski, who facilitated the contracts, lunch options and finances throughout all the planning stages.
These events are further enhanced by the financial support of our sponsors. Please think of them when selecting businesses work with.
