Dear WAHHI Women,

On behalf of the staff and board of directors of The Sandbox Children’s Museum, we thank you for choosing us as your September Difference Maker project.

The Sandbox Children’s Museum is the only non-profit and learning center of its kind in the Lowcountry featuring interactive exhibits and programs specifically designed to stimulate curiosity, evoke creativity, and motivate learning in children twelve and under.

A key part of our mission includes educational and interactive learning through play. We know hands-on interactive learning is the best way to build the brain of the developing child.

The items collected will help stock two of our exhibit spaces, our Art Studio and Makerspace. These areas allow children to be creative and use science, technology, math, and engineering to design and create to their hearts’ delight. Your generous donations will help stimulate the minds of hundreds of children.

We invite you to stop by and take a tour of either location and see your donations at work.
